About Talking Room

Talking Room is an AI therapist platform where artificial intelligence interacts with clients in a therapeutic context. The platform allows real therapists to observe sessions in real-time, including:

Reading conversation transcripts
Listening to live conversations
Observing clients' overall mental health indicators
Monitoring different emotional states throughout the session

Current Limitations & Future Improvements

While the project shows promise, I acknowledge there are some limitations due to budget constraints and domain knowledge gaps. To transform this into a production-ready solution, I'm focused on:

Collaborating with professional therapists to refine the approach and ensure clinical validity
Seeking investment and donations to access better hardware resources and more advanced AI models
Customizing and fine-tuning models to improve conversation quality, therapeutic direction, and mental health assessments

The Talking Room server is temporarily offline to conserve resources. If you'd like to try the demo, please send me a message, and I'll gladly activate it for you.

How to Use:

You must login with your Google account to be able to continue.

It's better to open both links (Client and Dashboard) first, and then log in on each.

In the Client app, start a session. You can then talk with the AI therapist.
In the Dashboard, you will see there is a room listed for the active session.
You may join this room as a supervisor. As a supervisor, you will see how the AI interacts with the client, observe the client's emotional state, listen to the conversation, and you can close the conversation (which means you suspect something inappropriate is happening during the conversation) to see what happens.
